So why don't we just copy Avalanche? Well that's pretty simple ...
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 2:47
1. It doesn't scale very well with the amount of nodes in the network that have no say in the consensus process but are merely consensus consuming nodes (i.e. sensors, edge devices and so on). If you assume that the network will never have more than a few thousand nodes then thats fine but if you want to build a DLT that can cope with millions of devices then it wont work because of the message complexity.
2. If somebody starts spamming conflicts, then the whole network will stop to confirm any transactions and will grind to a halt until the conflict spamming stops. Avalanche thinks that this is not a huge problem because an attacker would have to spend fees for spamming conflicts which means that he couldn't do this forever and would at some point run out of funds.
IOTA tries to build a feeless protocol and a consensus that stops to function if somebody spams conflicts is really not an option for us.
3. If a medium sized validator goes offline due to whatever reason, then the whole network will again stop to confirm any transactions because whenever a query for a nodes opinion can not be answered they reset the counter for consecutive successful voting rounds which will prevent confirmations. Since nodes need to open some ports to be available for queries it is super easy to DDOS validators and again bring the network confirmations to 0.
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 3:05
4. Avalanche still processes transactions in "chunks/blocks" by only applying them after they have gone through some consensus process (gathered enough successfull voting rounds), which means that the nodes will waste a significant amount of time where they "wait" for the next chunk to be finished before the transactions are applied to the ledger state. IOTA tries to streamline this process by decoupling consensus and the booking of transactions by using the "parallel reality based ledger state" which means that nodes in IOTA will never waste any time "waiting" for decisions to be made. This will give us much higher throughput numbers.
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 3:11
5. Avalanche has some really severe game theoretic problems where nodes are incentivized to attach their transactions to the already decided parts of the DAG because then things like conflict spam won't affect these transactions as badly as the transactions issued by honest nodes. If however every node would follow this "better and selfish" tip selection mechanism then the network will stop to work at all.
Overall the "being able to stop consensus" might not be too bad since you can't really do anything really bad (i.e. double spend) which is why we might not see these kind of attacks in the immediate future but just wait until a few DeFi apps are running on their platform where smart contracts are actually relying on more or less real time execution of the contracts. Then there might be some actual financial gains to be made if the contract halts and we might see alot of these things appear (including selfish tip selection).
Avalanche is barely a top 100 project and nobody attacks these kind of low value networks unless there is something to be gained from such an attack. Saying that the fact that its live on mainnet and hasn't been attacked in 3 weeks is a proof for its security is completely wrong.
Especially considering that 95% of all stake are controlled by avalanche itself
If you control > 50% of the voting power then you essentially control the whole network and attacks can mostly be ignored
I guess there is a reason for avalanche only selling 10% of the token supply to the public because then some of the named problems are less likely to appear
📷
Navin Ramachandran [IF]어제 오후 3:21
I have to say that wtf's suggestion is pretty condescending to all our researchers. It seems heavy on the troll aspect to suggest that we should ditch all our work because iota is only good at industrial adoption. Does wtf actually expect a response to this? Or is this grand standing?
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 3:22
The whole argument of "why don't you just use X instead of trying to build a better version" is also a completely idiotic argument. Why did ETH write their own protocol if Bitcoin was already around? Well because they saw problems in Bitcoins approach and tried to improve it.
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 3:27
u/Navin Ramachandran [IF] Its like most of his arguments ... remember when he said we should implement colored coins in 2nd layer smart contracts instead of the base layer because they would be more expressive (i.e. turing complete) completely discarding that 2nd layer smart contracts only really work if you have a consensus on data and therefore state for which you need the "traceability" of funds to create these kind of mini blockchains in the tangle?
Colored coins "enable" smart contracts and it wouldnt work the other way round - unless you have a platform that works exactly like ETH where all the nodes validate a single shared execution platform of the smart contracts which is not really scalable and is exactly what we are trying to solve with our approach.
📷
Navin Ramachandran [IF]어제 오후 3:28
Always easier to criticise than build something yourself. But yet he keeps posting these inflammatory posts.
At this point is there any doubt if he is making these comments constructively?
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 3:43
If he at least would try to understand IOTAs vision ... then maybe he wouldn't have to ask things like "Why don't you just copy a tech that only works with fees"
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 4:35
u/Shaar
I thought this would only be used to 'override' finality, eg if there were network splits. But not in normal consensus
That is not correct. Every single transaction gets booked on arrival using the parallel reality based ledger state. If there are conflicts then we create a "branch" (container in the ledger state) that represents the perception that this particular double spend would be accepted by consensus. After consensus is reached, the container is simply marked as "accepted" and all transactions that are associated with this branch are immediately confirmed as well. This allows us to make the node use all of its computing ressources 24/7 without having to wait for any kind of decision to be made and allows us to scale the throughput to its physical limits. That's the whole idea of the "parallel reality based ledger state" instead of designing a data structure that models the ledger state "after consensus" like everybody else is doing it is tailored to model the ledger state "before consensus" and then you just flip a flag to persist your decision. The "resync mechanism" also uses the branches to measure the amount of approval a certain perception of the ledger state receives. So if my own opinion is not in line with what the rest of the network has accepted (i.e. because I was eclipsed or because there was a network split), then I can use the weight of these branches to detect this "being out of sync" and can do another larger query to re-evaluate my decision.(수정됨)
Also what happens in IOTA if DRNG notes would fall out, does the network continue if no new RNGs appear for a while? Or will new nodes be added sufficiently fast to the DRNG committee that no one notices?
Its a comittee and not just a single DRNG provider. If a few nodes fail then it will still produce random numbers. And even if the whole comittee fails there are fallback RNG's that would be used instead
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 4:58
And multiverse doesn't use FPC but only the weight of these branches in the same way as blockchain uses the longest chain wins consensus to choose between conflicts. So nodes simply attach their transactions to the transactions that they have seen first and if there are conflicts then you simply monitor which version received more approval and adjust your opinion accordingly.
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 5:07
We started integrating some of the non-controversial concepts (like the approval reset switch) into FPC and are currently refactoring goshimmer to support this
We are also planning to make the big mana holders publish their opinion in the tangle as a public statement, which allows us to measure the rate of approval in a similar way as multiverse would do it
So its starting to converge a bit but we are still using FPC as a metastability breaking mechanism
Once the changes are implemented it should be pretty easy to simulate and test both approaches in parallel
📷
Serguei Popov [IF]어제 오후 5:53
So the ask is that we ditch all our work and fork Avalanche because it has not been attacked in the month or so it has been up?
u/Navin Ramachandran [IF] yeah, that's hilarious. Avalanche consensus (at least their WP version) is clearly scientifically unsound.
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 9:43
u/wtf maybe you should research avalanche before proposing such a stupid idea
and you will see that what I wrote is actually true
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 9:44
paying fees is what "protects" them atm
and simply the fact that nobody uses the network for anything of value yet
we cant rely on fees making attack vectors "inattractive"
📷
Serguei Popov [IF]어제 오후 10:17
well (1.) very obviously the metastability problems are not a problem in practice,
putting "very obviously" before questionable statements very obviously shows that you are seeking a constructive dialogue 📷 (to make metastability work, the adversary needs to more-or-less know the current opinion vectors of most of the honest participants; I don't see why a sufficiently well-connected adversary cannot query enough honest nodes frequently enough to achieve that)
(2.) .... you'd need an unpredictable number every few tens/hundreds milliseconds, but your DRNG can only produce one every O(seconds).
the above assumption (about "every few tens/hundreds milliseconds") is wrong
We've had this discussion before, where you argued that the assumptions in the FPC-BI paper (incl. "all nodes must be known") are not to be taken 100% strictly, and that the results are to be seen more of an indication of overall performance.
Aham, I see. So, unfortunately, all that time that I invested into explaining that stuff during our last conversation was for nothing. Again, very briefly. The contents of the FPC-BI paper is not "an indication of overall performance". It rather shows (to someone who actually read and understood the paper) why the approach is sound and robust, as it makes one understand what is the mechanism that causes the consensus phenomenon occur.
Yet you don't allow for that same argument to be valid for the "metastability" problem in avalanche,
Incorrect. It's not "that same argument". FPC-BI is a decent academic paper that has precisely formulated results and proofs. The Ava WP (the probabilistic part of it), on the other hand, does not contain proofs of what they call results. More importantly, they don't even show a clear path to those proofs. That's why their system is scientifically unsound.
even when there's a live network that shows that it doesn't matter.
No, it doesn't show that it doesn't matter. It only shows that it works when not properly attacked. Their WP doesn't contain any insight on why those attacks would be difficult/impossible.
📷
Hans Moog [IF]어제 오후 10:56
That proposal was so stupid - Avalanche does several things completely different and we are putting quite a bit og effort into our solution to pretty much fix all of Avalanches shortcomings
If we just wanted to have a working product and dont care about security or performance then we could have just forked a blockchaib
I am pretty confident that once we are done - its going to be extremely close to the besttheoretical thresholds that DLTs will ever be able to achieve for an unsharded baselayer

Yesterday I was asked how a reasonably big company no one has heard of could best move forward implementing Access for thousands of locations worldwide. (Sorry for the vagueness, it’s all confidential.) They read the article and want to implement it because it seems to fit a problem they’re currently trying to solve. Such moves will vastly increase the utility of protocols like IOTA, and is what the speculation is built on. I do not think you can overestimate what impact Access is going to have. It’s cutting out the middleman for simple things; no server or service needed. That’s huge.
So yes, I think this space will continue to grow u/Coinnave

In short: we are planning a new v0.3.0 release that should happen very soon. This version will bring fundamental changes to the structure of the entire codebase (but without additional features) so that progressing with the development will be easier and more consistent. We have also obtained outstanding results with the dRNG committee managed by the GoShimmer X-Team, so that will also be integral part of v0.3.0. After that, we will merge the Value Tangle with the Message Tangle, so to have only one Tangle and make the TSA and the orphanage easier to manage. And we are also progressing really well with Mana, that will be the focus after the merge. More or less this is what is going to happen this month.
We will release further details with the upcoming Research Status Update 📷

How to Buy Bitcoin 2

Bitcoin: All You Need to Know

Bitcoin is popular across due to its robust technologies as well as substantial market value. It has the potential to ensure huge and more profits compared to other currencies. As it controls the market, other currencies get affected when Bitcoin experiences any price fluctuations.
Bitcoin is a preferred choice for most traders and investors in the currency industry. The reliability makes it a perfect choice for online and offline stores to use it as a payment method.
Many show interest in Bitcoin. However, common people have a limited idea about it. They do not know where to buy it and how to use it while buying a commodity. In this article, we are going to answer all your queries related to Bitcoin. Keep reading to know how to be benefited from Bitcoin.

How to Buy Bitcoin

1. Start with a Wallet

You will need a wallet to store Bitcoin. You can link your wallet with leather wallets that you use for fiat currency. It can also house Bitcoin.
When it comes to wallets, you will find many options to choose from. Some of them are introduced by popular developers and other leading names in the industry. You can operate a wallet offline and online. You will have to research on available wallets to choose the best one to store your Bitcoin.

Things to Consider While Choosing A Wallet

2. Find A Reliable Bitcoin Trader

Choose a secure and easy-to-use wallet and then look for a trustworthy and reputed Bitcoin trader. While choosing a trader, your focus should be on the legit and trusted trader to make your first purchase safe and hassle-free.
You can consider a peer-to-peer platform or online exchanger. These two are different and work in specific and different ways. You need to open an account on the platform you find worth investing in. Here are a few things you need to go through while opening an account on any of the above two platforms:

After going through all these steps, you can have your account. Next, you will have to choose a payment method that you will use for the transactions.

Peer-to-Peer Vs Exchange Platforms

With exchanges, you can sell or buy Bitcoins on market trends. The exchange platform is considered easy for beginners. It will pair you with sellers mostly one with the lowest offer. You can pair with multiple sellers or one seller. You will have the freedom to choose the best seller depending on availability.
The peer-to-peer platform will not allow users to trade or exchange Bitcoin. The sellers and buyers will come together on the site to plan trades. You can consider trading both offline and online.

How to Choose the Payment Mode

You can expect different types of payment options regardless of the platform you prefer. Peer-to-peer and exchange platforms support flexible payment methods. You can use your credit or debit card for deposits. Some other options are e-wallets and PayPal. You can use any of them to purchase Bitcoin.
While choosing any of these two platforms, you will have to ensure that they offer many deposit options. By doing so, you can find the most suitable deposit option. All the payment options are not the same. The speed of the delivery and time will vary depending on the deposit option. So, make sure that you are choosing an option that ensures fast withdrawal and deposits.
A few platforms are known for offering direct wire transfer. The wire transfer will ensure fast deposits and withdrawals. You can choose any option depending on your convenience. If you are using your e-wallet or card for deposits, you should consider other payment modes instead of direct wire transfer.

Buy & Store Bitcoin

You need to place an order on exchange platforms to buy Bitcoin. Once you place the order, it will move into booking. The booked order will be paired with the involved sellers to find the most affordable rate. The Bitcoin will be reflected in your account immediately after completing the transaction.
As Bitcoin will show on your exchange account, you will have to transfer it from the platform into your wallet that you have created much before.

Plan the Next Step

The crypto industry is volatile. So, you will have to act smart to make money from the volatile market condition. The price might drop and rise suddenly.
Before planning any investment, you should understand the market condition. You should observe the market and research the trades before purchasing Bitcoin. If you find the market condition unfavorable, you can store the Bitcoin and use it when the market condition indicates a profit. However, it is suggested to use the Bitcoin immediately to complete a transaction or place a trade.

Conclusion

In the current condition, a few crypto ATMs allow traders to trade their fiat for Bitcoin directly. But these ATMs are limited and not available in all the locations. So, you will have to consider other reliable methods to avoid fraud. Enhanced security is a must in the currency trade.

Are you planning to invest in Bitcoin, well, there is no better time than today to invest in cryptocurrencies. There are many biotin exchange platforms where you can buy and sell Bitcoin. Amongst the various modes of going ahead with Bitcoin exchange, you can choose Bitcoin ATM for this. It is an easy way to buy and sell Bitcoin using a credit or debit card. When we are talking about bitcoin sale and purchase, we cannot miss speaking about Bitcoin Farming. In simple words, individuals who wish to become a part of the Bitcoin network, then you can do Bitcoin farming, which is nothing but extraction of the value of Bitcoin. Bitcoin farmers or Bitcoin miners solve computation problems, and they get rewarded for the same.
Bitcoin ATM: What should know?
Bitcoin ATM is a simple machine that is used for the sale and purchase of Bitcoin using debit and credit cards. Although Bitcoin has been there in the market for more than a decade now when it comes to Bitcoin ATM, these are a fairly new addition and easy to use and makes it easy for those who wish to exchange Bitcoin do that with ease.
The world got its first Bitcoin ATM in Vancouver, Canada, in 2013. At this ATM, the Bitcoin stalwarts can easily buy Bitcoin using the currency. This ATM is used to convert Bitcoin to Canadian Dollars and vice-versa. After this, Bitcoin ATMs have become very common. As of October 1st, 2020, there were around 10,503 Bitcoin ATMs globally.
Types of Bitcoin ATM:
There are two types of Bitcoin ATM:
· The basic one: These are used only to purchase Bitcoin
· Complex ones- These are used to buy and sell with virtual money. If you plan to use complex ATMs, you need to know that only the members of a particular ATM producer can use the ATM.
Some of the key players that are in the making of complex Bitcoin ATM are General Bytes, Genesis Coin. General Bytes has a market share of 30.3%, and Genesis Coin has a market share of 30.3 %.
The US has the highest number of Bitcoin ATM. Around 83% of the total global ATMs are located in North America.
Bitcoin exchange using General ATM
This is a general process of Bitcoin exchange using Bitcoin ATM, there may be slight variation in this, but the general process remains the same:
  1. The first step is verification (this may vary based on machine
  2. Now, you need to provide a Bitcoin address for deposit at some ATM.
  3. Insert cash into the ATM
  4. Confirm the operation (Bitcoin is sent to your Bitcoin address)
This is the basic step; however, you may find some variation in this based on ATM type. This is the right time to start investing in bitcoin, and with the prevalence of Bitcoin ATM, the task will become simpler.

[Attention New Users] Everything You Need To Know About MyBit

If you're new to MyBit and looking for information on how to get started, look no further. This post should answer all of the most frequently asked questions and help you find out what the MyBit project is all about.

What is MyBit?

MyBit is a DeFi (Decentralized Finance) platform that utilizes blockchain technology to allow people all over the world to invest in revenue generating assets, such as solar panels, cryptocurrency mining hardware, and Bitcoin ATMs. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg- the use cases are endless! Anything that generates revenue in a measurable, trustless way can be listed on our platform.
The best part is, these assets are able to be crowdfunded by users of the MyBit platform. You don’t need to buy an entire asset all by yourself, you are able to purchase a “stake” in an asset, and any revenue generated by said asset will be distributed equally among its investors, according to the percentage of their ownership stake. This means that revenue generating assets are no longer just for the rich- they are now for the masses, the working class citizens of the world. This allows for a fair chance for everyone to let their money work for them, instead of just having the rich get richer while the masses get poorer.
MyBit isn’t just for investors either. There are 3 different ways that users can utilize MyBit’s technology- the first way is investing, which we already discussed. The second way to utilize the platform is to become an “asset manager”. Not everyone has the capital to invest in an asset, so MyBit allows users to earn revenue by managing one for the investors. What exactly “managing” consists of, will vary depeding on the asset. But you can think of it as maintenance/security etc. For example, maybe you’re managing a cryptocurrency miner. You might need to check on it from time to time and make sure it’s running properly, connected to the internet, and in a safe/secure location.
The third way to utilize MyBit is a solution for enterprise/IoT (Internet of Things) partners. Companies who produce IoT hardware can integrate the MyBit API into their products and expose themselves to investors all over the world with our platform.

Where can I buy MyBit?

MyBit is currently listed on the following exchanges:

What wallet can I use to store my MyBit tokens?

MyBit is an ERC-20 token, which means you can store it in any Ethereum wallet. We recommend using a hardware wallet such as the Ledger Nano S, but you can always use MyEtherWallet, MetaMask or any other Ethereum wallet you like. Just simply send your MyBit tokens to your Ethereum address. When sending your MyBit OUT of your Ethereum wallet, you will need a small amount of ETH to cover gas fees (network costs).

Who is on the MyBit team/Who is in charge?

MyBit was originally founded by our CEO, Ian. We then moved to a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) structure so all decisions would be made by community members through a voting mechanism. There were a few issues with the DAO structure, so we are currently (as of September 1st 2020) running in a more centralized manner for the time being. However, we are planning our development of a new DAO which will be more of a Kyber-style DAO. You can read more about this here.

What is the current status of the project?

As of the time of this post (August 2nd, 2020), we are currently in the process of migrating our platform to Version 2. Version 1 was our proof of concept and was used to successfully fund our first revenue generating asset. All of the development work for Version 2 is being completed as we speak. We aim to have Version 2 launched and fully functional by late September 2020, to early October 2020. Please check the weekly updates posted on this subreddit for the most up-to-date information.

What is the utility of the MyBit token?

The MyBit token is used in order to obtain voting power in the DAO (as mentioned above), and there will also be a small percentage of tokens that are burned every time an asset is funded on the platform. This means that MyBit (MYB) is a deflationary token, and theoretically should gain value as supply decreases and demand increases.

I heard there was a token swap, but I still have the original tokens from the ICO. How do I exchange them for the new MyBit tokens?

We have a guide for that, click here to see it! Please note, if you are using MyEtherWallet to do the swap, there is 1 thing missing from the guide- once you get to the final screen, it will not allow you to submit the transaction unless you type “0x” (without the quotes) into the “extra data” field.

Where can I find more info on the MyBit project?

You can find more information in the Wiki.
You can also visit our website at MyBit.io, or join us on Telegram.
I will be updating this post with more information as it becomes available. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me or find me in the Telegram. Don't forget to subscribe to this subreddit if you'd like to follow along with our journey and stay up to date on development.

DO NOT BUY BITCOIN FROM FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS!

Today marks a new day, Deutsche Boerse has listed and Exchange Traded Product ( ETP ) linked to the price of Bitcoin, Grayscale Bitcoin Trust now allows you to buy BTC shares. BTC ATM’s are now available in over 5000 different locations in the US. But, don’t be fooled you would think that these financial companies are here to help increase adoption, well there not.
All financial companies work for one purpose, to MAKE THEMSELVES money, not you! The cost of housing bitcoin can be at most 59$ this represents the price of a Ledger nano that can store more bitcoin than you can buy. However, these big companies believe that you should pay a 2% “Maintenance Fee”. What are they gonna maintain? It does not cost anyone 2% to store crypto. I haven’t even gotten to the best part! They charge you 7% for simply buying these shares from them if you go on any exchange the highest fee you could pay is 0.5%. The financial service sector does only one thing! Steal from the people that are working hard to save money!
Please people, if you want to invest in crypto all you need to do is have your credit/Debit card and go on to any exchange such as: Coinbase Crypto.com Coinmama CEX etoro
If you go to these financial services they will charge you 10% for doing something you can do from the comfort of your couch.

Round up of Cryptocurrency News #5 Week 03/08 - 09/08

Welcome again to another recap and the first full week of the new month after breaking the downward trend on the monthly!

Firstly, from last weeks uptrend we have seen the market consolidate at this level throughout the week with a steady upward climb at the start of the week to a balance out above $11.5k for Bitcoin towards the end. For the market we have a total increase of $17.5B over the week but a 1% decrease of btc dominance moving mainly toward Chainlink and other altcoins.

Closing the week we have had some altcoin action, Ethereum breaking $400 midweek but now staying back in a nice channel between $350-$410 since the start of August. But, Chainlink killing it after breaking $10 and currently sitting comfortably above $13!! Other altcoins that have reaped rewards and I'm keeping an eye on are:
I have picked these as i have noticed they are usually the first movers or the biggest gainers after the market goes red. Chasing those quick gains!

How do I Buy Bitcoin & Crypto? - Pros & Cons of 5 Exchanges

Are you looking to start investing in cryptocurrency and wondering the best place to buy it? Or if you are in the US, are you wondering which crypto exchanges are legal for you to use? Below is a list of 5 cryptocurrency exchanges that, as of this post, are all legal for US citizens. I have also included a quick break down on the pros and cons of each exchange. This is not a complete list of every exchange available to US citizens as there are others, but these are my own personal top 5 based on characteristics such as ease of use, security, fees, liquidity and selection of available coins to trade. If you are not located in the US there is a good chance most of these exchanges are available to you as well, you will just need to check with the exchange and look up your own country's policies regarding the purchase of cryptocurrencies.
As you go through the list please keep in mind, while I do have them ranked 1 through 5, there is not a lot separating them and each of these exchanges offer something a little unique from the others. Everyone's investment goals and preferences are going to be a little different so my #5 exchange here could be your #1 based on your criteria. It is also pretty likely that if you end up wanting to invest in 5 or more coins at some point, no one exchange is going to have all of them available so you will likely need to open multiple accounts anyways. Okay, on to the list.

1) Binance US
Binance US is an offshoot of one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges out there, Binance.com. They created Binance US in response to US citizens being banned from using their main exchange back in 2019. These two exchanges function much the same with the biggest difference being that Binance US has a slightly smaller pool of cryptos listed on their exchange, which currently is a little over 30 coins. Other than that, all of the great features of Binance.com that have helped it become one of the largest crypto exchanges in the world, apply to Binance US as well.
PROS
- Low Fees: Start at 0.10% spot trading fee and goes down from there depending on your trading frequency. You can also save an additional 25% off your trading fees by holding their native token BNB.
- High Trading Volume: Allows you to get in and out of your positions more easily.
- Coin Selection: Currently as of this writing there are over 30 different coins available to be traded.
- Reliability / Reputation: As one of the larger players in the crypto space, Binance is able to offer a bit of security as they are able to throw a lot of money at any potential problems with things like hackers. Binance US puts away a set portion of their earnings every month in a fund that acts as insurance against any funds that may be lost due to hackers. Back in 2019 they had an incident where 40 million dollars of crypto was stolen by hackers and they reimbursed every penny to their customers.
CONS
- Interface: Trading can be a little confusing for those not used to trading cryptocurrencies. While it is not too difficult to learn, a couple of the upcoming exchanges on my list are a little more user friendly for those who are new to the space.
All things considered, right now if I was getting started with Crypto trading in the US, Binance US would be the first account that I created. If you would like to open an account you can use the link below. If you are located outside of the United States I would suggest opening an account on the the original Binance.com exchange as they currently have a wider selection of cryptos to pick from. Below is a link for their sign up as well if you are interested.
Binance US Sign Up
Binance Sign Up (Non-US Citizens)

2) Crypto.com
Crypto.com is on a mission to be the leader in cryptocurrency adoption to the masses and is trying to bridge the gap between the worlds of blockchain and traditional finance. Along with trading cryptocurrencies they have programs on their app like Earn, Invest, Pay & Credit which you would find with more traditional finance companies. For instance, through their Earn program there are many coins you can earn interest on by locking them up for a set time period. Depending on the coin, how many MCO (Crypto.com native coin) you have staked and how long you keep your tokens locked up for, you can earn anywhere from 2% to 18% interest which a lot better than any bank is going to do for you these days.
One of the best features of Crypto.com, in my opinion, are their great eye-catching, metal crypto MCO reward credit cards. These cards pay you cashback, in the form of their MCO token, for all of your day to day purchases anywhere that VISA is accepted. Depending on which level of card you get, these credit cards reward 1% to 5% cashback on all spending along with other great benefits like free ATM & international withdrawals, 100% cashback on Spotify & Netflix subscriptions and airport lounge access. In order to get your hands on one of these cards you will need to open a Crypto.com account if you don’t already have one. There is good news if you don’t already have one, as new sign ups can get $50 worth of MCO tokens free by using the link and promo code I have posted below. Please note that the $50 of MCO tokens will remain locked until you deposit & stake at least 50 MCO tokens toward the sign up of the particular card you are interested in. If you want to know a little more about these cards you can check out method #3 in my earlier post 5 Easy Legitimate Ways to Earn Free Crypto where I go into a bit more detail on them. However, for the purpose of this post, let's get to some pros and cons of their exchange platform.
PROS
- Low Fees: Start at 0.20% and go lower from there depending on your trading volume.
- Coin Selection: Currently as of this writing there are 53 different coins available to be traded.
- Interface: Easy to use app that is very user friendly.- Customer Service: One of the best customer service programs in the industry if you need any help.
CONS
- App Only: No desktop version, all functions on the exchange must be done via their app.
- History: Founded in 2016 so they are still relatively new to the industry.
Crypto.com is a great option if you are looking to trade cryptocurrencies and also want to take advantage of things like their cash back VISA cards and Earn program that pay you great interest rates as you hold your coins. Below is a link you can use to sign up for a new account. If you are also interested in getting one of their MCO Visa cards, use the link below along with the promo code to get $50 of their MCO token free.

3) Coinbase Headquartered in San Francisco, Coinbase is the largest US-based crypto exchange with about 20 million current users. Like Crypto.com, they are trying to bring cryptocurrency trading to the masses through an easy to use interface and education. One way they try to educate their users is through their Coinbase Earn program where they offer free crypto for watching short educational videos teaching you about the various coins they offer on their exchange. I will not go into the details of that program here, but if you are interested in checking it out I go into a bit more detail on it in my post 5 Easy Legitimate Ways to Earn Free Crypto. Now on to some of the pros and cons.
PROS
- High Trading Volume: Allows you to get in and out of your positions easily.
- Interface: Easy to use desktop interface and trading mechanisms for those new to crypto trading.
- Insurance: Coinbase carries an insurance policy that covers 2% of all assets on the exchange and they keep the other 98% in cold storage.
CONS
- Fees: While their fee structure is not horrible, it is a bit higher than Crypto.com and Binance US. Crypto to crypto trading fees are at 0.50% / bank purchases at 1.49% / credit & debit card purchases at 3.99%.
- Coin Selection: Currently they only have about 20 coins to choose from, however they are looking to add a bunch more soon.
Coinbase is a solid choice for anyone looking to get started in crypto trading. If you would like to open an account you can use the link below which will get you $10 of free Bitcoin as a sign up bonus. Please note that to get the free $10 you must buy or sell $100 worth of crypto within 180 days of signing up.

4) Robinhood
Robinhood is the pioneer of no fee trading for securities which is the main benefit of this exchange. It also is, to my knowledge, one of the few exchanges that allow you to trade both traditional stocks and cryptocurrencies. Technically their stock and crypto exchanges are separate entities, however you can seamlessly trade them both from the same account on their app. This is great for those who would like to get started trading in both crypto and traditional stocks but don't want to open multiple accounts. Or for those who might want to trade back and forth between stocks and crypto but don't want to have to transfer money between accounts to do so. Now to explore some other features of the Robinhood exchange let's get into the pros and cons.

PROS
- Fees: None (FREE!)
- Flexibility: Can trade multiple asset classes (Stocks, Crypto, ETFs, Options)
- Interface: Easy to use app that is very user friendly. Desktop version available as well.

CONS
- Coin Selection: Currently only offer 7 coins that can be traded (BTC, BCH, BSV, DOGE, ETH, ETC, LTC)
- Coin Mobility: Your coins must remain on the Robinhood exchange. You cannot transfer your coins to another exchange or withdraw them to put in your own digital wallets.
With their user friendly interface and no fees, Robinhood is very appealing for those just getting into crypto trading. If you are just looking to buy some of the higher cap coins like Bitcoin and Etherium, this exchange can be a good fit for you. However if you know there are some projects you would like to invest in that are not listed above, you may want to choose some of the other exchanges on this list, or both. If you are unsure at this point if you want to invest beyond coins like Bitcoin and Etherium in the future, it doesn't hurt to start here, get your feet wet and open another account down the road if you have other projects you get interested in. If you would like to open an account you can use the link below to get one free stock with sign up! This free stock will be valued somewhere between $2.50 and $200.

5) Kraken
Kraken exchange is based out of the United States and was founded back in 2011. While there is no specific trait that blows away the competition with this exchange, it does most everything pretty well. Like most crypto exchanges at this point, your funds on there are not FDIC insured, however Kraken does keep a separate fund that serves as an insurance policy and is currently over 100 million dollars. They also show great transparency and compliance with programs like their Proof of Reserves which offers proof that they hold all of the funds that they say they do. Here is quick break down of their pros and cons.

PROS
- Low Fees: Range from 0.10% to 0.26% depending on your trading frequency.
- High Security: One of the best reputations in the industry for security.
- Coin Selection: Good but not great. Currently they have about 20 coins available for trading.

CONS
- Interface: Making trades can be a little confusing for beginners who are not familiar with their format. However with a couple quick tutorials most of you should be able to get familiar with it pretty quickly.

Best Exchanges to Buy Bitcoin & Crypto in the US (Pros & Cons)

Are you looking to start investing in cryptocurrency and wondering where the best place to buy it is?

Best Ways to Passively Earn Free Bitcoin & Crypto in 2020

Here are my best ways to earn free crypto passively in 2020 with the least amount of effort. Hopefully these 5 methods are helpful to you.
Earning Crypto for Things You Do Already
1) Brave Browser (BAT)
For me, one of the biggest no brainers out there for earning free cryptocurrency is the Brave Browser and their BAT token. This new browser looks and feels like the Chrome browser, but is better in so many ways…
AD BLOCKERS: Most websites and ads include software that track your every move as you browse the web. Brave Shields block these incoming ads and trackers to allow a more private, uninterrupted browsing experience.
SPEED: One perk of blocking those ads and trackers is that they can no longer slow down your page uploads. Brave Browser can load sites up to six times faster than Chrome, Safari and Firefox.
PRIVACY: Most browsers have a “private mode,” but this only hides your history from others using your browser. Brave’s Tor feature not only hides history, but it also masks your location from the sites you visit by routing your browsing through several servers before it reaches your destination. These connections are encrypted to increase anonymity.
REWARDS: So now on to the part that earns you free cryptocurrency. While the Brave browser blocks unwanted ads, it gives you the option to earn rewards (BAT Tokens) by opting into their privacy-respecting ads. Get paid to view small, non-intrusive ads as you browse the internet. This feature is completely optional as the browser gives you the option to allow anywhere from 5 ads per hour (max) down to no ads at all if you would prefer to forgo earning BAT tokens and want to just enjoy an ad free browsing experience.
If you are worried to move away from the Chrome browser because you rely on some of the Chrome extensions, not to worry. Brave browser should maintain support for all of your Chrome extensions.
Brave browser is a great way to passively earn cryptocurrency for doing something you already do. In addition, if you are willing to put in just a little more work, you can earn more BAT by signing up for their Brave Creators program. This will give you a referral link that you can pass along to friends and family to earn additional BAT tokens for each person that downloads the browser. Referral bonuses differ depending on what country the new user is from, for example new users from the United States are currently worth $7.50 of BAT each. If you would like to get started with the Brave Browser and earning BAT tokens, you can use the link below to download.
Brave Download Page

2) Presearch (PRE)
A natural addition to the Brave browser is Presearch. While you are getting paid to browse the internet with Brave, you might as well get paid for your internet searches as well. Presearch is a new internet search engine that pays you for each search in the form of their PRE token. And just like the Brave browser, one of the best perks, besides getting paid to do what you already do, is that you are not sacrificing quality to get it. In their own words, “WE ARE BUILDING A NEXT-GENERATION SEARCH ENGINE, POWERED BY THE COMMUNITY.”
Worried you won’t get as good of search results as Google? Nothing to worry about there as you can simply choose Google as your default provider within Presearch and you will be directed to Google’s results when you enter your search. In fact, you can direct your search to any number of sites (96 as of this writing) for any given search. They make this easy to switch back and forth as there is a list of your favorite sites directly under the search bar. Some examples of the more popular sites include Amazon, Youtube, Facebook, Reddit, ESPN and Netflix.
If you are so inclined, in addition to getting paid for your internet searches, Presearch also allows you to use your purchased or earned PRE tokens to buy keyword ads. In their words, “Keyword Staking enables token holders to commit or ‘stake’ their PRE tokens against specific words and multi-word terms. With Presearch Keyword Staking you choose a keyword (ex. ‘Bitcoin’) and then stake PRE tokens that you’ve purchased or earned against that term. You can then create an ad that you link to the website of your choice.”
To begin earning PRE for all your internet searches, use the link below.

3) Crypto.com (CRO & MCO)
Crypto.com is on a mission to be the leader in cryptocurrency adoption to the masses so they are being aggressive with their customer incentives. Another great way to earn crypto for doing what you already do is via their Debit Card cash-back. Crypto.com has great eye-catching, metal crypto reward credit cards that pay you cash back for all of your day to day purchases anywhere VISA is accepted. Depending on which level of card you get, these credit cards reward 1% to 5% cashback (paid in their MCO token) on all spending along with other great benefits like free ATM & international withdrawals, 100% cashback on Spotify & Netflix subscriptions and airport lounge access. You can find the full details for each card on their website, but below is a breakdown of the benefits on their three lowest entry level cards. Note that some of these benefits are reduced if you are not staking their MCO token.

MIDNIGHT BLUE (Plastic Card)
Cash Back Reward: 1%
Monthly Free ATM Withdrawal Limit: $200
Required MCO Stake: None (Free)

RUBY STEEL (Metal)
Cash Back Reward: 2%
100% cashback on a standard Spotify subscription (up to $12.99)
Monthly Free ATM Withdrawal Limit: $400
Required MCO Stake: 50

JADE GREEN & ROYAL INDIGO (Metal)
Cash Back Reward: 3%
100% cashback on a standard Spotify subscription (up to $12.99)
100% cashback on a standard Netflix subscription (up to $12.99)
Monthly Free ATM Withdrawal Limit: $800
Airport Lounge Access
Required MCO Stake: 500

PLEASE NOTE: Cards are currently available in the US, Singapore and Europe. And hopefully very soon will be available in Asia Pacific and Canada as well.
In case you are unfamiliar with the term “staked”, this simply means that those coins will be locked up for whatever length of time that card requires. It is important to note that you are not paying or losing those coins as you will be free to sell the staked MCO at the end of holding period and continue to earn crypto cash-back from your card. Or you can leave your MCO coins staked and continue to earn interest on them. For example, if you hold a Jade Green card which requires a 500 MCO stake, they are currently offering 6% interest on those coins which is paid out in more MCO.
In summary, Crypto.com cards are a great way to earn free crypto on your everyday purchases along with other great perks like free (100% cashback) Netflix and Spotify subscriptions. In addition, a small layer of comfort in signing up for one of these cards, is that Crypto.com is one of the largest, most trusted crypto exchanges out there right now. In fact, if you are also looking for an exchange to get started with purchasing crypto assets, your Crypto.com account would be great for that as well. To claim your Crypto.com debit rewards card you can use the link below. If you do not currently have a Crypto.com account and would like to get the $50 Sign Up Bonus use the link along with the promo code.

4) Coinbase Earn
In an effort to educate its users and to try and simplify the sometimes complex world of cryptocurrency, Coinbase has put together the Coinbase Earn program. They have partnered with some of the biggest blockchain projects out there to offer you free crypto for watching short educational videos about the coin you are getting rewarded in. These videos are normally about 2-3 minutes long and pay you $2 to $4 per video, with each project having about 4 or 5 total videos.
In order to collect your reward, you normally need to successfully answer a multiple choice question at the end of the video which is usually fairly simple. If you get the question wrong don’t worry, they will allow you to watch the video over again until you get the question correct. Once you have answered the question correctly you will immediately receive your tokens that you are free to sell or exchange for another token of your choice if you would like.
Coinbase is changing their active offerings for these videos all the time and usually have about 4 or 5 projects available at any given time. In addition, some of the projects will not be immediately available and will require you to join a waitlist. Then, once the offering is available to you, they will email you with a link to the videos. Below is the current list of available offerings as of this writing and I will do my best to keep these updated. However, once you have a Coinbase account you can log in and check for new projects on your own. Speaking of which, a Coinbase account is required before you can watch the videos so if you do not already have one you can use the link below to sign up. Using this link will also get you $10 of free Bitcoin as a sign up bonus (Note that to get the free $10 you must buy or sell $100 worth of crypto within 180 days of signing up).

2. Orchid (OXT)- 3 Videos / $4 each / $12 Total

3. Stellar Lumens (XLM) - 5 Videos / $2 each / $10
Watch XLM Videos
*** Each of these offerings also provides the opportunity to earn an additional $40 each for referring them to friends and family. ($10 per referral / Max of 4 each)

5) EarnCrypto.com
If you have some free time on your hands and are willing to put in a little effort, EarnCrypto.com is another good option for earning free Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. On this site you will get paid free crypto for completing tasks like watching videos, playing games and taking surveys.
One nice thing about this site is that once you have completed your task you will be given your free crypto instantly and they offer a very wide selection of coins to pick from. I think right now they offer over 80 different cryptocurrencies for rewards and you get to choose which coin you want to get paid in. This makes for a great way to gain some exposure to lower market cap coins that are often not listed on the major exchanges. In addition, they are adding new coins all the time, so you can send them a request to add your favorite crypto if they don’t already offer it. Use the link below to open an account and start earning the cryptocurrency of your choice now.

Your Crypto Cashpoint In Dubai

How to buy Bitcoin in Dubai?

You can buy bitcoin in Dubai at Coinsfera with cash, credit card, and bank transfer. Coinsfera is the crypto currency cashpoint where you can Buy & Sell more than 500 cryptocurrencies with cash in seconds.
  1. Make an appointment with Coinsfera staff via phone, Whatsapp or Telegram.
  2. Visit our Bitcoinshop in Dubai conveniently located at Baniyas Square-14th Rd – Dubai – United Arab Emirates.
  3. Pay with cash (Dirham or US Dollars) and get your Bitcoin.
One of the methods is cryptocurrency exchanges but it is not so easy for the unexperienced users. First, you will need to create an account on one of the major exchanges, confirm your identity, connect a credit card and transfer money, and only then you will be able to proceed with buying and selling bitcoin.
The whole process takes some time, unless, of course, the exchange is suffering from failures and you do not know how to do everything correctly.

First Bitcoin ATM in Bitcoin

In Dubai, there is also an ATM for buying BTC without identity verification. In Dubai, the first ATM was installed in 2019, allowing you to buy bitcoins without passing KYC. However, to withdraw fiat money, you will still need an identity card. Even though ATM is becoming more popular all over the world, security remains the main problem. This ATM was installed at the Rixos Premium Dubai JBR Wellness center in Dubai.
The device allows you to purchase bitcoins for cash. However, you do not need to present your identity card or pass KYC. Nevertheless, although the purchase of bitcoin is made anonymously, users are unlikely to be able to maintain confidentiality and a high commission than traditional exchanges. To use cryptocurrency in the future, you will have to turn to the services of exchanges and wallets, most of which currently require verification of identity before performing operations.
We offer one the easiest and the best way to purchase Bitcoin with cash. At Coinsfera, Transactions only take 10-15 minutes. Moreover, our friendly staff will provide you with full assistance in this case, if you have any difficulties or questions.

How to store bitcoin?

Bitcoins can be stored in two types of digital wallets: a hot wallet or a cold wallet. With a burning wallet, transactions are faster, while a cold wallet often includes additional security measures that help keep your assets safe, but also take longer.

Hot wallet

With the help of a hot wallet, bitcoin is stored on an exchange and is accessible via an app or a computer browser on the Internet. Even though the blockchain technology underlying bitcoin is even more secure than traditional electronic money transfers, bitcoin hot wallets are an attractive target for hackers.

Cold wallet

As a result, the choice remains for you which wallet to buy hot or cold. But you can think about this option in advance with the help of our qualified team, which will proconsul everything and help you create a wallet.

How to invest bitcoin correctly?

There are two ways to invest bitcoin. If you like the idea of day trading, one option is to buy bitcoin now and then sell it when its value rises. This method is popular since most users try to make a profit immediately. Sometimes this type of trade brings a good income, and sometimes insignificant. The second way is if you have analyzed the cryptocurrency market, especially the bitcoin market, and see it as the future of the digital currency, then you are investing in bitcoin. In other words, by purchasing it and investing your money. But this method is long compared to the first, which is a disadvantage.

New job - receive overseas money and deposit into bitcoin ATM

Hi guys, this is my first post on Reddit and I'm just a bit sceptical on my new "job".
I received an email from a company recruiter saying that they got my CV off of a popular job listing site that I am registered on. I was immediately suspicious as they claimed I could get upwards of 5000AUD per month by working from home. The reason they wanted me was because of my location as they are based in New Zealand and I am in Australia and they would like to expand.
After a bit of research on the company I did find that it is officially registered and has a professional website, it is however not very popular online as these are basically the only things I can find about it online other than a LinkedIn profile with 0 connections.
So they sent me an official looking employment agreement which I have signed and I am now officially an employee of theirs.
Fast forward to today and I've got my first task, I am getting a large amount deposited into my bank account which I am to withdraw (I need to visit 3 different branches as the amount is more than what is allowed from one branch per day) and then transport to bitcoin ATM in my city and deposit it to a specified bitcoin wallet.
The instructions are also a bit dodgy as they ask me not to mention bitcoin to the bank as it may end in my account being foreclosed as the banks here are "wary of their customers making investments in bitcoin".
So basically, I want to know if I may be getting coaxed into doing something illegal or of any resources I could use to find out.
Thanks for the help!

Online Bitcoin Trading: Discover The Keys To Making A Powerful Earnings Trading Bitcoin

Action 1 - Comprehending Bitcoin And The Block-Chain

Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer payment system, otherwise called electronic cash or virtual currency. It provides a twenty-first century option to traditional banking. Exchanges are made through "e wallet software application". The bitcoin has in fact overturned the conventional banking system, while running beyond federal government guidelines.
Bitcoin utilizes modern cryptography, can be provided in any fractional denomination, and has a decentralized circulation system, remains in high need worldwide and provides numerous unique benefits over other currencies such as the United States dollar. For one, it can never ever be garnished or frozen by the bank( s) or a federal government company.
Back in 2009, when the bitcoin deserved simply 10 cents per coin, you would have turned a thousand dollars into millions, if you waited simply 8 years. The variety of bitcoins offered to be bought is restricted to 21,000,000. At the time that this short article was composed, the overall bitcoins in flow was 16,275,288, which indicates that the portion of overall bitcoins "mined" was 77.5%. at that time. The present worth of one bitcoin, at the time that this short article was composed, was $1,214.70 USD.
According to Costs Gates, "Bit coin is amazing and much better than currency". Bitcoin is a de-centralized type of currency. There is no longer any requirement to have actually a "relied on, third-party" included with any deals. By taking the banks out of the formula, you are likewise removing the lion's share of each deal cost. In addition, the quantity of time needed to move cash from point A to point B, is lowered formidably.
The biggest deal to ever occur utilizing bitcoin is one hundred and fifty million dollars. This deal happened in seconds with very little charge's. In order to move large amounts of cash utilizing a "relied on third-party", it would take days and expense hundreds if not countless dollars. This discusses why the banks are strongly opposed to individuals purchasing, offering, trading, moving and investing bitcoins.
Just.003% of the worlds (250,000) population is approximated to hold a minimum of one bitcoin. And just 24% of the population understand what it is. Bitcoin deals are gotten in chronologically in a 'blockchain' simply the method bank deals are. Blocks, on the other hand, resemble specific bank declarations. Simply put, blockchain is a public journal of all Bitcoin deals that have actually ever been performed. It is continuously growing as 'finished' blocks are contributed to it with a brand-new set of recordings. To utilize standard banking as an example, the blockchain resembles a complete history of banking deals.

Action 2 - Establishing Your E Wallet Software Application Account

As quickly as you produce your own special e wallet software application account, you will have the capability to move funds from your e wallet to a receivers e wallet, in the type of bitcoin. If you want to utilize a bitcoin ATM to withdraw funds from your account, basically you will connect your e wallet 'address' to the selected Automated Teller Machine e wallet 'address'. To help with the transfer of your funds in bitcoin to and from a trading platform, you will just connect your e wallet 'address' to the e wallet 'address' of your picked trading platform. In reality, it is a lot easier than it sounds. The knowing curve in relation to utilizing your e wallet, is really brief.
To establish an e wallet, there are a myriad of business's online that use safe, safe, totally free and turn-key e-wallet services. An easy Google search will assist you discover the best e wallet software application for you, relying on what your requirements are precisely. Lots of people get going utilizing a "blockchain" account. This is complimentary to establish and extremely protected. You have the choice of establishing a two-tier login procedure, to even more boost the security and security, in relation to your e wallet account, basically securing your account from being hacked into.
There are lots of choices when it pertains to establishing your e wallet. An excellent location to begin is with a business called QuadrigaCX. You can discover them by doing a Google search. Quadrigacx utilizes a few of the most strict security procedures that presently exist. Moreover, Bitcoins that are moneyed in QuadrigaCX are saved in freezer, utilizing a few of the most safe and secure cryptographic treatments possible. To put it simply, it is an extremely safe location for your bitcoin and other digital currencies.
In order to withdraw cash in your regional currency, from your e wallet, you are needed to find a bitcoin ATM, which can typically be discovered in regional companies within a lot of significant cities. Bitcoin ATM's can be found by doing a basic Google search.

Action 3 - Purchase Any Fractional Denomination Of Bitcoin

To purchase any quantity of bitcoin, you are needed to handle a digital currency broker. Similar to any currency broker, you will need to pay the broker a charge, when you acquire your bitcoin. It is possible to purchase.1 of bitcoin or less if that is all that you wish to acquire. The expense is just based upon the existing market price of a complete bitcoin at any offered time.
There are a myriad of bitcoin brokers online. A basic Google search will permit you to quickly source out the very best one for you. It is constantly an excellent concept to compare their rates prior to continuing with a purchase. You need to likewise verify the rate of a bitcoin online, prior to finding a place to buy bitcoin, as the rate does tend to vary regularly.

Step 4 - Keep Away From Any Trading Platfrom Promising Unrealistic Returns To Unwary Financiers

Discovering a respectable bitcoin trading business that provides a high return is vital to your online success. Making 1% each day is thought about a high return in this market. Making 10% each day is difficult. With online bitcoin trading, it is practical to double your digital currency within ninety days. You should prevent being tempted by any business that is providing returns such as 10% daily. This kind of a return is not practical with digital currency trading. There is a business called Coinexpro that was using 10% daily to bitcoin traders. And it wound up being a ponzi plan. If it's 10% each day, leave. The abovementioned trading platform seemed really advanced and discovered as being genuine. My recommendations is to concentrate on trading your bitcoin with a business that uses affordable returns such as 1% daily. There will be other business that will try to separate you from your bitcoin utilizing unethical techniques. Be extremely mindful when it pertains to any business that is using impractical returns. When you move your bitcoin to a recipient, there is actually absolutely nothing your can do to get it back. You need to make sure that your selected trading business is completely automated & incorporated with blockchain, from invoice to payment. More notably, it is vital that you find out to distinguish genuine trading chances from deceitful "business's" that are specialists when it concerns separating it's customers from their cash. The bitcoin and other digital currencies are not the concern. It is the trading platforms that you should work out care with, prior to turning over your hard-earned cash.
Your ROI ought to likewise be upwards of 1%+ daily due to the fact that the trading business that you are providing your bitcoin to, is more than likely earning upwards of 5%+ each day, usually. Your ROI needs to likewise be immediately moved into your "e-wallet" at routine periods, throughout your agreement term. There is just one platform that I feel comfy utilizing. It pay's each bitcoin investotrader 1.1% daily in interest in addition to 1.1% each day in capital. This kind of a return is staggering compared to what you would make with standard monetary markets, nevertheless, with crypto currency, it prevails. A lot of banks will payment 2% annually!
If you are needed to carry out tiresome activities such as logging into your account, sending out e mails, clicking links etc, you certainly require to keep looking for an appropriate trading business that uses a set-it-and-forget-it kind of platform, as they definitely exist.

A story from a cloaky camper and an attempt to build a beast mode multi-boxing server.

21/04/2018
Hello Nerds!

Some of you may know me, some may not. Those that do will know I offer cloaky camping services over new eden. I do camping contracts / extort renters and focus my time hunting botters when the contracts are quiet. I offer PvP entities access to my cyno network to get dank kills and big escalations. From super carriers to Rattlesnakes.

The thing that got me into camping was hunting bots back in the dronelands a few years ago. I realised the most effective way to hurt them was to camp them 23/7, follow them around using locator agents. Eventually they had to rat with me in system. When they did I setup bubble traps etc and dropped blops and cleaned them up.

The 2nd thing I love about cloaky camping is the ability to counter Alliances (i feel its overpowered) intel channels / networks. Think about it. They have multiple intel toons dotted around the entrances to their pipes reporting hunters coming into the pipe allowing the PvE players to warp off and safe up. They even use external programs to collect this intel and give audible alerts. Cloaky camping is just the polar opposite. Dotting toons in their ratting pocket and giving me intel on whats going on in their system. As long as local chat exists so will cloaky camping. I'm pretty confident CCP share the same thought.

People probably think cloaky camping is easy. You are wrong. The prep work and behind the scenes work that goes into it is pretty immense. You are about to find out.

The hardware i'm currently running the 60 clients on is as follows:

Camper1: Screenshot of 30 Clients Layout
Camper2:

How do you pay for 60 toons
I started with 10 campers and made ISK by other means. When I made new campers I invested ISK and started to Skill extract and plexing the toons. I also make a decent amount from people who pay me to camp others.

The Setup
I manage the clients window positions and CPU allocation with ISBOXER. Its legal to use as long as you don't use input broadcasting. I boot up the clients with ISBOXER EVE Launcher. I copy the window positions / chat channels etc over using garpaui. I use remote desktop to manage the clients light cynos etc.
Example here

On both motherboards I had to under clock the processors as they were drawing too much power from the motherboard and causing the chipset to overheat. I think these motherboards are not beefy enough to support these 8 core processors. It caused the CPU to throttle reducing the clock speeds to 1.3Ghz and causing lag issues. I solved this problem by reducing the clock speed from 4Ghz to 3.6Ghz and reducing the CPU voltage. This reduced the heat by a really good amount and stopped the problems.

However, Me being me I wanted to expand and the camping pcs were running at full chat. So I needed a better piece of hardware to host these 60+ clients. So, while at Fanfest, I bidded on this R820 Server on ebay and won!

Specs:

The hardware should be able to support multiple clients. However i'm not too sure how eve is going to behave when I try and open 60 instances all in one OS. I have set myself up for a hell of a challenge! However, I feel like I got a pretty good deal on the server and DELL hold their value. I'm sure I can re sell it if the project fails.

Things to work out:

Things I will teach you guys

I'm learning too so your help input would be awesome! First question. Shall I just update this reddit post each time or create some sort of blog?
Old AMD FX Rigs
New Kit / with various bits I gathered to get started

Update 23/04/18
I have made some decent progress on this crazy project. I will give some breif updates here. I will get a blog up and running to post full details with how to's etc. Its probably way to long for reddit.

I have successfully installed some GPU's into the R810 AMD R9 280x and Nvidia GTX 970. I soldered some PCI-E cables to the PDB and it worked fine. The GTX sits nicely in the chassis however, the R9 280X is external atm using a PCIE x1 to x16 riser (from my bitcoin mining). Also I have managed to enable and use them both with passthrough in ESXI 6.5. Yes the GPU works with a x1 adaptor. WTF!

Freezing Problem with a single os install
If I try and run more than 40 clients in a single OS I the system freezes when loading up client 41. I have tried the following:
I cannot see why it is freezing. Is there any way to gather logs for the client? It doesn't appear to be a resource problem. Plenty of RAM / CPU and HDD isn't going crazy.

Here are some pics of the current progress:

Remember in trading minutes matter, hours are eternities.
Did you see SNOV yesterday!? We are officially 6/6 on KuCoin picks and as promised I have another one for you guys today! None of the KuCoin picks have even shown signs of pulling back. KCS will continue its dominance as KuCoin is one of the few exchanges accepting new traders (referral link below). Another very positive thing for us KuCoin early entrants is that Binance and Bittrex have suspended allowing new traders. That means guys like you are flocking to alternative exchanges (like KuCoin) to get involved in the crypto world. KuCoin has increased their daily volume every single day for the past 2-week, their twitter eagerly displays this info, and they updated their servers to handle significantly higher trading capacity. More money flowing into altcoins means the market caps will increase accordingly. Look for our moons to continue mooning. Remember moonshots are not to be day traded, they will likely end up on major exchanges which is when they will have their true moon. You could have made 70-100% on DRGN or KCS my first week posting moonshots, but if you held them, you would have made 400%. I have increased my portfolio % in moonshots as they’ve been outperforming all other sectors of crypto. This allows me to HOLD while still finding new moonshots!
Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. If you do not diversify and HOLD forever, eventually you will become the hog, and get slaughtered. Traders try to make 10-20% per year, bonds earn 5% on a good year. We are earning 20-200% a day on moon shots daily. I fully support being invested in them, as I am, but this is the riskiest part of the entire crypto world. I would highly recommend removing a % of your profits from your current moonshots and either rotating them into other moonshots you have smaller holdings in, or investing in the 2 below ICOs. This does 2 important things, 1. It locks up your funds for 1 month so you don’t suffer fluctuations in the alt market, and 2. Provides you a discount for a coin that will probably be listed as a moonshot in 2 months because at 4x ICO value it will still be undervalued when compared to the total market!
So now everyone’s favorite part (as it is mine too considering we’ve been making 50% on anything held 24hrs, 100% on anything held 48hrs, and 150%-200% on anything held 72hrs).
Let’s hear it for SNOV, ELIX, DBC, BNTY, DRGN, and KCS. Not only has the moonshot list had huge gains, we have had other 100%ers in the last 10 days. XRP, BNB, NXT (80% if you were late to the party), ENJ, NEO, ICX, and XEM. We have had a very successful week, make sure you don’t forget to tip the dealeresearcheRedditer who is putting in all this effort to share winners with you!
Today’s Moonshot KuCoin Pick: PURA (The early bird gets the worm, get in early!)
Referral link for KuCoin: https://www.kucoin.com/#/?r=1cH1M
PURA is a coin predominantly traded on KuCoin. It is also one of the few that is down a decent % from yesterday with no news to support this drop. With so many alts correcting I suspect PURA will have corrected by the time I finish writing this post, or by late tomorrow afternoon. It’s trading at 4000Satoshis at 9am (as I am writing this), I expect 5500-8000 Satoshis to be approached if not surpassed by the end of day Monday (based on sell walls a spike to just under 8000Satoshis is my best estimate). There are minimal sell walls and this one should be off to the races once a few big buyers are holding. In September PURA updated their systems to have INSTAPAY, PRIVATEPAY, MASTERNODES and FAIRMINING. Unlike the ridiculously slow BTC, ETH and LTC network PURA lets you send coins instantly (seconds literally). This is what makes INSTAPAY so impressive. What about Privatepay? It lets you send the crypto using a private wallet. MASTERNODES allow anyone to mine PURA on their computer creating a larger PURA network. With a wallet already out, a mining platform set up, one of the smallest market caps on KuCoin (98million), and ways to send crypto instantly and privately I expect PURA to rival many of the larger cap coins. If PURA makes it to a larger exchange I see an easy 3x here. If PURA hits $1billion as a market cap which is very achievable within months of arriving at a larger exchange this coin will be a 10xer. Finding coins that can appreciate 10x with an exchange listing and minimal news is a very difficult thing to find. PURA is it. We are 6/6 on the moonshots so far…will we make it 7/7 as of Tuesday?!
SNOV was my pick yesterday and it appreciated nicely. It is still a favorite of mine with room to grow. Yes, we’ve all experienced a nice gain and I always follow my rule, pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. However, we have to compare SNOV to other recent moonshots. Anyone who has sold a moonshot to date has lost out as my first 2 picks KCS and DRGN are up the higest %s. This demonstrates that HOLDING is as important as monitoring important times to buy and sell. I’ve added $$ (well BTC) to KuCoin as the opportunities here are much more significant than on Binance and Bittrex with new $$ and traders flowing in and new coins being listed regularly there are endless possibilities. 3 days ago money flooded into BTC as you could see in the BTC price rise. I predicted this 48hrs prior that institutional money would get involved within the next 72hrs, and we had our 20% BTC price climb. What happens immediately following a BTC price climb? The alts respond! I expected SNOV to have overreacted to the BTC climb and was correct. 24hrs prior this coin was trading at 1200Satoshis. SNOV has corrected to the pre BTC price collapse but has yet to excel like the many others located on KuCoin. Sunday’s pick was SNOV, I personally am doubled down by rotating $$ out of stagnant positions in Binance and Bittrex. I am going to continue ride the alt wave all day as SNOV, DRGN, BNTY, ELIX, KCS, and PURA (Today’s Pick!) should all trend north today. I also plan on transferring a decent amount for more KuCoin picks! Diversification is key, but it is important to still HOLD. You can be diversified among moonshots!
Monday’s move is to purchase PURA, set a price target of 60,000-70,000Satoshis over the next 72hr period. Leave a very large % in to allow it the opportunity to continue to moon, but make sure to have some crypto available for tomorrow, if not Tuesday’s next moonshot!
I believe PURA should have the highest return in the next 72hrs when compared to alternatives on KuCoin. However, SNOV should continue to trend north as new traders flock to KuCoin snapping up cheap shares. BNTY should continue its rise as it gets added to a new exchange and provides actual bounties for digital tasks (so cool!). DRGN is not left to die by Disney and is leading the charge to get on Binance (they also have a production deal coming up!). I am extremely bullish on DRGN even at a 400% increase this week. I expect a Disney associated press release in the next few weeks and a new exchange listing. KCS will win because it is one of the few exchanges still accepting new patrons, AND they give 90% of the trade commission back to KCS holders and as referrals. This type of referral and KCS dividend is unheard of in exchange marketplaces. DBC is downright amazing, combining AI and the blockchain. The moonshots have all increased, yes, but a moon is not a 70% increase. HOLD (and accumulate PURA!).
Crypterium and Covesting met their hard caps :/ but the good news is most of you were involved in these ICOs. When an ICO meets its hard cap it is clear there was significant interest and a greater likelihood of mooning immediately after exchange listing. Both the two I am now presenting I expect to reach hard caps in the coming weeks.
ICO 1: KYC Legal: KYC Legal (please use the referral as I make no $ spending countless hours researching these ICOs and coins ) referral: https://bookbuild.kyc.legal/?ref=23734776ffa2051a83eb8bc1
The first I am presenting is a new favorite of mine because of the all so dreaded KYC form. Know Your Customer. If you’ve completed an ICO recently you know the form I’m talking about. The form they give you at the end, after you’ve sent your .5eth but before they will release their tokens. Basically stating you understand this market is unregulated, etc. Well a blockchain token has in essence solved this problem. I HATE KYC forms and if the KYC system was set up in a way in which you wouldn’t have to fill out that form repeatedly for every ICO it would be more convenient for all investors and ICO companies. KYC Legal intends to do just that. According to the founder DR, “This is a simple and quick way to complete client identification procedures, which can then be used to verify the client’s identity during various financial operations (so-called KYC (“know your customer”) requirements that financial institutions and companies working with the money of private individuals use to identify and verify counterparties before starting a financial transaction). This niche is completely untapped and I HATE KYC forms enough to think this is a brilliant idea. They are calling it a “Universal alternative to Personal IDs,” on the block chain. Brilliant concept and there are 2 days left to receive the 38% discount from the final price. A 38% gain prior to token sale completion is significant, imagine what will happen when the hard cap is reached and it hits the first exchange. ICO 2: HOQU Referral: https://www.hoqu.io/?ref_id=7e8ace30413be0fe224fa60d3e57868f
According to HOQU directly, “HOQU is a decentralized affiliate platform combining the performance-marketing model with blockchain technology. The aim of the project is to create a decentralized ecosystem, which will be used to build CPA services, ranging from affiliate programs to affiliate networks and related products. HOQU integrates advertisers, networks and affiliates into a single platform, significantly reducing the financial costs for all market participants.” Currently we have decentralized markets for advertisers, networks, and affiliates, HOQU intends to combine all 3 into one platform on the blockchain. This satisfies the need to fulfill a niche market. Not to mention their team is exceptionally active posting on twitter and doing shows across the U.S., currently at a crypto convention in Las Vegas. This is an active team (not a scam hiding in Eastern Europe or Asia) with a niche implementable platform. I see this being a true moon candidate following listing on an exchange! All below information has been updated on Monday at 1am EST. This will help individuals follow what information has been repeated/edited.
Personally I am using funds that were in BTC, ETH, and LTC to buy new alts. BTC spiked 2 days ago making alts exceptionally cheap! I’d recommend adding funds in FIAT, selling BTC, or selling alts you do not have faith in to reallocate to strong January plays (either on Binance, Bittrex, or KuCoin - My new favorite if you’ve been following our %s).
As expected today was be a big day for ENJ as their wallet and Minecraft plugin debut are approaching quickly! I believe besides moonshots, STRAT and NEO will be the top performers overall in January. NEO has conferences and guaranteed publicity the entire month and STRAT has a new ICO platform.
Make sure to open an account to trade these coins on Binance: https://www.binance.com/?ref=15316928
My 3 favorite conference plays for the next 2 weeks are: WAVES, ARK, and SONM. These 3 are all at events in the next 2 weeks of January (Waves and ARK are at a conference in Miami I will be attending!). The cost of attendance to these conferences start at $1,000 (I will need tips to cover costs !). However, they provide exposure to the top individuals and founders of coins with billions of dollars in market cap. In comparison to other coins speaking at the largest January events WAVES, ARK, and SONM’s price has not appreciated this week in correlation to the others. They are also the smallest market cap coins presenting at these huge conferences. This provides an opportunity to purchase WAVES, ARK, and SONM at an undervalued price. As their conferences in mid-January approach I expect their price to trend north rapidly, peaking on the day of, or day after the conference. These should be focal points if you shy away from moonshots (which you shouldn’t!).
TRX (BUY) Lots of individuals were hating on my Reddit 2 days ago about me calling TRX to recover from .16, here we are back above $.21! The price fell over 30% 2 days ago and has almost completely recovered! TRX has a game coming out this month and I expect it to continue to trend North as one of Binance’s cheapest options with a monetized game on the horizon. I do not know if you played Cryptokitties but it crashed the Ether network. TRX is a much faster and less expensive network to process information on. I expect the game this month to be the second that monetizes gaming through cryptocurrency leading to TRX’s short term success. I’d expect another 100-300% returns leading up to the release of a game on their TRX platform.
STRAT (BUY and HOLD). I have an interesting update!!! STRAT is developing a Breeze wallet with Tumblebit which makes Bitcoin transactions private through the STRAT network. The biggest problems with BTC is its transparency and it’s speed. STRAT will help alleviate the transparency aspects for those who want to conceal how much they send/receive. A wallet that manages to conceal your BTC holdings (makes it similar to privacy coins). STRAT’s money for advertising has been saved with the anticipation of a high volume publicity campaign upon release of their new wallet and ICO platform. Once funds are spent advertising the STRAT ICO platform, their 2 flagships are announced, and their wallet is functional (all happening this month) I expect the price not only to trend north but more than double if not triple. I wouldn’t be surprised to see 100%-300% returns on a fairly safe crypto investment (normally the riskiest coins provide this monthly). Their twitter confirmed the 2 ICOs coming out in the next few weeks, when the official announcement is made we are looking at 100-200% gains.
STRAT is on the cusp of being able to host ICO’s for other companies. This is extremely valuable technology and they’ve announced it will be ready to go this week. Would anyone like to know the going rate of an ICO? 20-40BTC. Per ICO these small companies and their coin holders are making $250k-$600k at the current BTC prices. This is a very big business. They’ve also announced 2 Flagship ICOs that will be available on their STRATIS network in January. The platform to host ICOs goes live this week, and within 2 weeks we find out which ICOs STRAT is hosting, then their wallet and advertising rollout. This should be a very positive 2 weeks for STRAT. As the crypto market continues to expand, the need for new ICO platforms will expand as well. This is my safest, favorite coin for January.
ICX (BUY and HOLD) ICX has had about a 50% run this week and continued to perform yesterday. This is again a good opportunity to buy as I am still very bullish on this coin. The price will trend north until the end of the month where the blast off will occur. The Koreans love this little coin so much it is hosting its first blockchain conference in the tallest building in Seoul at the end of January. This will be enormous exposure for a coin which Koreans are already in love with. Their mainnet although once delayed was promised to be released prior to their January conference. Based on big news and Asian trading volume this should continue to trend North. Asians trade more than Americans. Koreans are the highest volume trading country in Asia, and they happen to love ICX. ICX should continue to trend north leading up to their conference in the end of January. This is an accumulate on dips until the January 25th conference. I am not sure we will see many more dips unless BTC has a run to 25k but continue to accumulate, this should trend north toward $20 by the end of January.
TNB (BUY) has a BETA version of the Android and IOS wallet being released this month. This is one of the few coins that didn’t take a beating yesterday. Being able to take your funds with you is exceptionally important. Having a good looking interface is equally important. TNB looks to accomplish both tasks this month. It is also one of the cheapest coins on Binance, a plus for those looking for cheap coin acquisitions! I like TNB as a cheap Binance coin with truly significant potential.
POWR(BUY), is a semi-finalist in an event coming up on January 9th. This event should provide plenty of exposure for one of the few ICOs supported by a government (Australia). A county that struggles with power grid failure could succeed in implementing the first cryptocurrency related directly to trading power, electricity on the blockchain. I expect a strong 2 weeks from POWR. Expect to see significant returns in the next 72hrs especially if they are not only a semi-finalist but make the finalist list!
ENJ (BUY and HOLD), Did you see yesterday’s gains, almost 30% up from the prior day’s dips!? I hope you listened on this one! Enjin is coming out with a Minecraft Plugin and Digital Wallet for your phone. The coin is a token designed specifically for gaming, a quickly expanding realm for digital currency. With a Minecraft Plugin and Digital Wallet being completed shortly this coin should continue to appreciate. They are also running a promotion giving away free ENJ on the Minecraft platform to get users involved. What could be a better boost to your coin value than a working Minecraft Plugin and a brand new wallet?
ARDR(BUY) Honestly, Bittrex is beginning to frustrate me. I haven’t received my IGNIS and ARDR has been unable to be sold, bought, or transferred in weeks. I recommend moving $ to KuCoin and enjoying these insane %s. However, currently like many of you I have a large holding in ARDR which I still believe strongly in but would like the opportunity to sell if I choose! Their platform successfully launched Jan 1st. All those NXT you’ve been holding for the free IGNIS are used specifically on the ARDR block chain. With a new platform and coins to be used on it this will be a positive week for ARDR with exceptionally high returns correlated with the new platform and IGNIS’s continued appreciation. I believe ARDR and its new network will experience positive publicity and a successful launch of IGNIS. I would continue to buy and hold as the ARDR network gets rolling.
XEM(BUY), They had their pop 2 days ago and has since decreased with the rest of the market! It is time to get XEM on sale prior to their hackathon beginning this week! Each coin has a specific reason for their being undervalued. Catapult, which is version 2.0 of NEM is to be released very soon. Following Catapult is a 4-week hackathon beginning the first week in January. There is nothing better to build awareness and test out their new Catapult network they’ll be releasing this week, then a worldwide hackathon and a new update to their NEM network. XEM will have a pop this week when Catapult goes live, followed by a 4-week awareness rally driven by a worldwide hackathon.
ADX (BUY), has had an impressive run but taken a recent dip. It remains a favorite of mine for multiple reasons. One of my favorite parts about ADX is they have a profitable platform already for coin holders. This is essential for every coin. Without a platform for a functioning coin, the coin is just unique code using up electricity. ADX advertised space on EasyJet boarding passes successfully last month and now is selling over 1 million more advertising spaces. This is a profitable coin with a strong future already occurring. ADX wins because NEO wins, Asian markets enjoy trading even more than the U.S. currently. This trend should continue as ADX continues its trend north. Their next partnership or announcement will lead to the next big pop in price, but as far as a coin goes, this is a safe option with stable returns that has a functioning and profitable platform.
NEO (BUY and HOLD), is an important hold in all portfolios as it is hands down the Asian Ether. NEO has one of the biggest January’s of any coin and is up over 70% since I recommended it originally. NEO has meetups in Dublin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, and London the first two weeks of January. Everyone sees the upcoming calendar and realizes the next 2 months will provide more exposure than any 12-month period in crypto history. NEO is the latest addition to the buy and HOLD list. They end the month of January speaking at 2 of the largest blockchain conferences in the world. This will be one of the strongest plays for January 2018.
PAY (BUY and HOLD I believe they have a strong platform and an upcoming rollout which will allow users to deposit crypto and receive cash at ATMs or use it as a Debit Card. This is an important transition as few enjoy the hassle laden process of transferring back to bank accounts. If you must divest this is one I would divest from.

The number of Bitcoin ATMs installed worldwide exceeded 6000

The number of Bitcoin ATMs installed worldwide exceeded 6000
The number of bitcoin ATMs continues to grow. According to CoinATMRadar, there are currently 6004 such machines.
https://preview.redd.it/okvl0utwhgz31.png?width=738&format=png&auto=webp&s=ff1119dc69565150eee3db51e6a3ade9d95300f3
In November, 108 new Bitcoin ATMs appeared on the CoinATMRadar card. There are 11 new machines are installed daily on average, which is the highest growth rate this year.
3924 ATMs are located in the USA, 653 in Canada. The third and fourth places on the list are Great Britain (272) and Austria (189), the fifth on the list is Spain - 86 ATMs.
In general, Europe accounts for 20% of all installed Bitcoin ATMs, but in Asia, they account for only 2% of the total, even though there is a great popularity of cryptocurrencies in this region.
Since June, the number of installed Bitcoin ATMs has grown by almost one thousand. Of the machines marked on the CoinATMRadar card, just over 35% are bilateral. That is, they allow not only the purchase but also the sale of cryptocurrency. The remaining two-thirds only allow the purchase of bitcoin.

Top 10 Ways to Earn Bitcoin in 2020

Top 10 Ways to Earn Bitcoin in 2020

https://preview.redd.it/14i4twybxby31.png?width=476&format=png&auto=webp&s=ba30918de799fb2614f4be1284a37d9708c5bbb3
Back in 2018, the most popular way to earn bitcoin seemed to be through Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). Over $6 billion was raised in Q1 2018 for crypto projects — many with just a white paper and a website. Business was good for founders and investors until the end of 2018 when scammers were the only ones laughing. Most investors lost money, and capital investments into ICO dropped 97%. Companies like TruStory even launched whose sole mission was to stop ICO scams from happening. By Q1 2019, less than $900 million was raised through ICOs —with regulation being the coup de gras.

So where has all the momentum shifted? The second wave of crypto projects will undoubtedly reward profits over potential. This article examines the top ways you can earn bitcoin in 2020 — from faucets and bitcoin mining to crypto savings accounts. The biggest winners of 2020 will likely fall into one of the following 10 categories. The strategy that is right for you will depend on your skills, network, access to capital, location, risk tolerance and investment timeline.

#1 - Holding
https://preview.redd.it/2rvi2izqxby31.png?width=475&format=png&auto=webp&s=5edf45a5cf880916a1cbf3dd3c889b05e27a52be
Arguably the best way to make money on Bitcoin is to buy it and hold it for many years. Smart investors rely on a strategy called Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) to reduce market volatility. This works by investing a fixed amount on a regular schedule, ie $100 once a week for 10 weeks, which helps offset the crypto market volatility. The hard part is being patient with the investment and resisting the urge to daytrade or sell too quickly.

#2 - Lending
https://preview.redd.it/8ejpg84wxby31.png?width=472&format=png&auto=webp&s=984fbb7bb13e6064a8ae1d130d77f3f9fd9c716b
A number of fintech companies like BlockFi and BitBond now offer the ability to earn interest on your crypto holdings. Interest rates range start around 8% and can go as high as 20% for trusted lenders. The interest clients earn typically compounds monthly, although these returns mimic that of the S&P 500 so this is considered a low risk/reward option.

#3 - Day Trading
https://preview.redd.it/i1mqwm80yby31.png?width=471&format=png&auto=webp&s=b9185daf5e28b8160f8b36848b26e34e1b7b8417
A common way to earn Bitcoin trading is through trading cryptocurrencies on exchanges using 1X to as high as 100X leverage. Traders can also bet on the index of any crypto on sites like eToro or Robinhood. Daytraders will trade based on charts and trends, and try to grow their portfolio.
https://preview.redd.it/hxpg8nq7yby31.png?width=469&format=png&auto=webp&s=8441aee2cd8b258ec580faee5820510401372cc9
Another much safer form of arbitrage is dropshipping. You can source products on Amazon or from sites like Oberlo who will help you find the right products to buy. You can build an e-commerce store using Shopify or just sell on eBay. If you have a store and supply chain already, it's easy to start accepting Bitcoin using a payment gateway like CoinPayments or BitPay.
Other peer-to-peer exchanges like Paxful, Purse and Redeeem allow you to trade gift cards and other digital and physical goods for bitcoin.

#4 - Gambling
https://preview.redd.it/fghrvc3cyby31.png?width=473&format=png&auto=webp&s=7ebcc8d3a22c7e07ba7fc1c455a8b22b1f2b88b5
Gambling with Bitcoin is highly addictive, risky, largely unregulated, and offers the biggest and fastest financial volatility. Some popular crypto gambling sites include CloudBet, BetOnline, FortuneJack, Bovada, BetUS and hundreds of others. For more rankings, click here.

#5 - Mining
https://preview.redd.it/h9q7uphpyby31.png?width=471&format=png&auto=webp&s=64c18aeb8fc4bee85f9e1b8275385223f017c825
Despite the fact that over 80% of Bitcoin has already been mined, bitcoin mining is still a $4 billion annual industry. Since mining was intentionally developed to require advanced hardware, it's an expensive process that requires large mining facilities to be profitable. For this reason, most large-scale mining operations are located in China where electricity is cheap.
To be successful, individual miners are forced to join collective mining pools like MinerGate or simply mine as a fun hobby with Coinmine or Homeyminer and not worry about the ROI. To learn more, click here.

#6 - Faucets
https://preview.redd.it/uejcd0ztyby31.png?width=478&format=png&auto=webp&s=de76e9b769582b83af46e78d97616c19945d0474
A faucet is just a website that gives free coins to every visitor for staying on the site or engaging with content. Some examples are Cointiply, FreeBitcoin, SatoshiQuiz and others. Keep in mind, a satoshi represents roughly 0.00000001 bitcoin, so 100 satoshi is about 1 penny. It would take 100 correct trivia answers on SatoshiQuiz to make $1 USD. It's far more profitable to own a Bitcoin faucet and make money on advertisements.

#7 - Services
https://preview.redd.it/2mizr67e0cy31.png?width=483&format=png&auto=webp&s=c698ba3fd2ee210837155a240a65c3002ae049da
There are dozens of job boards online where you can earn bitcoin for a variety of independent contractor services. Many clients on Upwork, Freelancer and other non-crypto platforms will gladly 15% discounts or more if they can pay their freelancers in bitcoin and avoid the costs of the marketplace. Other more dedicated sites are listed below.
Jobs4Bitcoin — Reddit job board for bitcoin tasks
AngelList — Job board for crypto companies and projects
Earn.com — Earn bitcoin while learning about crypto
CryptoGrind — Escrow for bitcoin freelancers
CryptoJobs — Job board for bitcoin freelancers
Coinality — Job board for crypto freelancers

#8 - Exchanges
https://preview.redd.it/v5a0u4iy0cy31.png?width=464&format=png&auto=webp&s=543a50490c066b904fe351cec925d8adcf1a6c22
The simplest and lowest-cost exchange is a Bitcoin ATM. As of January 2019, there were 4,213 Bitcoin or cryptocurrency ATMs worldwide. With many countries like Venezuela, Argentina and Nigeria experiencing hyperinflation, the world's 2.3 billion unbanked people will continue to demand bitcoin and stablecoins as hedges against inflation. The estimated startup costs for a Bitcoin ATM is about $25,000 per location, according to CoinATMRadar.
https://preview.redd.it/xoj4c5c31cy31.png?width=468&format=png&auto=webp&s=bed32024272d9c6e6e8fcdc0e7c53254e91c02e6
Building a crypto exchange or peer-to-peer trading platform will be a more expensive way to earn bitcoin as an exchange. This requires building a website, hosting wallets on the blockchain, building security protocols, creating KYC/AML policies, accepting crypto payments, building two sides of a marketplace, and a little marketing, branding and legal work. Some examples of successful P2P trading platforms are Paxful, Purse and Redeeem.
The fiat to crypto exchanges like Gemini, Coinbase and Kraken usually require venture funding, large engineering teams and banking partnerships for proper custody of the funds. Fiat exchanges also have to register as a Money Services Business (MSB). For a full list of fiat exchanges, click here.

#9 - Affiliate Rewards
https://preview.redd.it/peewibjm1cy31.png?width=475&format=png&auto=webp&s=18f067006e2edfdbae198e14d71ede66bb805dae
Affiliate programs in crypto are endless, and they can come in many different shapes and sizes. Products like Lolli and Pei will reward you with bitcoin cashback everywhere you shop. Exchanges like Changelly will give you a percentage of their fee revenue for referring clients. Wallets like Abra will give you $25 for each signup. The optimal strategy is picking a familiar product that you know and love. For a list of affiliate programs, click here.

#10 - Content
https://preview.redd.it/yh7q5vwv1cy31.png?width=469&format=png&auto=webp&s=ed03d857d94d8c11de63b5cbc21c5e311836fcaa
Bitcoin is King. Content is King. So Bitcoin Content must be God. The ability to research, write and publish high-quality content on Bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrencies will be a highly coveted asset in 2020. It's free to start a Medium blog, video blog or podcast and share your ideas to passionate audiences on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit or Quora. Try to build an audience first then turn on AdSense or activate other partnerships to start collecting passive revenue for your content.
